... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 2 PM this afternoon to
9 am akst Thursday...

The National Weather Service in Anchorage has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow... which is in effect from 2 PM this
afternoon to 9 am akst Thursday.

Light snow will develop west of the Parks Highway late this
morning through early afternoon and then spread across the rest
of the Susitna Valley by late afternoon. Snow will intensify
tonight across the region and then gradually taper to scattered
snow showers Thursday morning. Total snow accumulation of 6 to 12
inches is expected across the region by late Thursday
morning... with highest amounts west of the Parks Highway and north
of Talkeetna.

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered
roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while driving.

Snow. Snow accumulation 4 to 8 inches...highest amounts west of the Parks Highway and north of Talkeetna. Lows in the mid teens to lower 20s. North wind 10 to 15 mph.
Thursday
Snow diminishing to scattered snow showers from southwest to northeast. Additional snow accumulation 1 to 3 inches. Highs in the mid 20s to lower 30s. North wind 15 mph in the morning becoming light.

Numerous snow showers. Lows in the upper teens to mid 20s. Light winds.

Snow likely. Highs in the mid 20s to lower 30s. Light winds.
