A Fire Weather Watch remains in effect from Saturday morning
through Saturday afternoon for north Alabama.

Very dry conditions will develop Saturday under a broad area of
high pressure... causing relative humidity values to fall below 25
percent for much of Saturday afternoon. The combination of this
dry airmass and existing dry vegetation will result in an
elevated fire danger... though surface winds will likely remain
under 10 mph.

A Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather conditions
are forecast to occur. Listen for later forecasts and possible
red flag warnings.
