A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 7 am EST
Wednesday.

* Periods of snow will become more persistent and increase
intensity during the evening hours. The peak of the storm is
expected to be from about 9 PM through about 3 am. Snow showers
will taper off and become scattered Wednesday morning.

* Total accumulations of 3 to 6 inches can be expected by
Wednesday morning.

* Winds will increase from overnight into Wednesday with
sustained winds of 15 to 25 mph and gusts to 30 mph
contributing to blowing and drifting snow. This may cause
particular problems for exposed west to east oriented
roadways.

* Accumulating snow will lead to deteriorating conditions this
evening through the Wednesday morning commute. Travel will be
hazardous overnight.

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect...

Light to moderate snow will persist across the Tri Cities and
northern thumb region throughout the evening hours. The area most
heavily impacted will be across much of Saginaw and Tuscola
counties... with visibilities of less than 2 miles common.
Additional snowfall accumulations through 1000 PM will range from a
half inch across portions of Midland... Bay and Huron counties... to
two inches for Saginaw and Tuscola counties. Strong northwest
winds... gusting 25 to 30 mph... will accompany the snowfall causing
blowing and drifting.
